KÉRATENE® products are sold as a cosmetic product and it is available without medical prescription and can be used for every-day hair care by men above the age of 18 and women above the age of 18.

KÉRATENE® may be used in combination with Finasteride or other (amino) Minoxidil- or Minexil-based products. Its formula incorporates the most valuable natural, skin-friendly ingredients, which makes it suitable for all types of hair, even in problematic cases with dermatological problems such as sensibility to the conventional synthetic products.

In order to obtain the best results and maximize the effects, it is highly recommended to use a combined therapy with KÉRATENE® SerComplex or KÉRATENE® ULTRA.

Indications of use for KÉRATENE®

• treatment for irritated scalp skin
• treatment for difficult scalp skin, sensitive scalp skin or scalp skin affected by various  dermatological conditions, including psoriasis,
• pityriasis simplex capillitii (pityriasis capitis) and  seborrhea sicca
• excessive hair loss
• incipient alopecia androgenetica men NW I&II 
• premature hair thinning at women L1&2
• irritated scalp skin
• seborrheic & dandruff producing scalp skin

KÉRATENE® Allergy Information
The KÉRATENE® products contain the following ingredients that might trigger a localized allergic reaction in the case of people sensitive to the following natural oils: Benzyl benzoate, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, d-Limonen, Linalool.
These are components are derived from natural aromatic oils obtained at the extraction of some ingredients from plants and are used in KÉRATENE® in very small amounts.
 
RESULTS and TESTS performed on KÉRATENE® Anti Hair Loss Treatments

Factors that influence the effectivity of the treatment
KÉRATENE® contains thermo active ingredients.
They are most effective when the scalp skin has an increased temperature with at least 1 degree Celsius than the normal body temperature. Such conditions occur when showering or bathing.
If the products are used "on cold" scalp skin, they need a longer exposure time to work.
If the products are applied on very cold skin, the effectivity is reduced.

The treatment with KÉRATENE® has little of no effect in the following cases:

• chemotherapy - KÉRATENE® has no effect
• severe malnutrition, bulimia, anorexia - KÉRATENE® has severely reduced effectivity
• retinol hypervitaminosis (vitamin A excess or - high liver retention of any retinol forms) - KÉRATENE® has partial effectivity, only on the 5ard enzyme. No hair growth effects are obtained
• Alopecia Totalis, completely miniaturized hair based on autoimmune response - KÉRATENE® has an extremely low effectivity, presenting poor to insignificant results

KÉRATENE® is designed to address alopecia androgenetica (also known as androgenic alopecia or, in male subjects, as male-pattern baldness) and excessive hair loss (non-hormonal causes).
The KÉRATENE® products are not tested for the following forms of alopecia: alopecia aureata, alopecia totalis and alopecia universalis. For the time being no definitive results can be presented in the case of the above mentioned forms.
This means that KÉRATENE® may very well be used and tested by people currently having these alopecia forms, since it provides a high dermatological toleration, but that we can not claim nor guarantee visible, solid and long-lasting results.

RESULTS and TESTS performed on KÉRATENE® Anti Hair Loss Treatments

Exclusive usage of the KÉRATENE® products as daily hair care treatments may provide the following results*:

Daily use of the KÉRATENE® products is recommended for optimal results against hair loss and against premature hair thinning. In order to obtain the best results and maximize the effects, it is highly recommended to use a combined therapy of KÉRATENE® products, not just one. Results are expressed for situations when the products are used in persistent daily treatment with KÉRATENE® Shampoo in combination with KÉRATENE SerComplex® or KÉRATENE® ULTRA for minimum 45 consecutive days. The best anti hair loss results are available after an average period of 60 days.
