Oily skin
Oily Skin
Your skin is characterized by increased sebum production and a shiny appearance, especially next to your nose, your forehead or chin. Your pores are clearly visible. Maybe you suffer from acne, during hormonal fluctuations and your skin looks a little yellowish. Your skin tolerates the cold and wind very well, but makeup will not adhere properly. All characteristics of oily skin.
Oily skin may well be balanced by proper care. And may very well become unbalanced by greasy skin. By treating Oily Skin, one of the main goals removing excess sebum, so the moisture of the skin can be restored. This can be done with an exfoliating product with alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), for example, Murad AHA / BHA Cleanser. After scrubbing, use a facial tonic (tonic) and then give your skin a boost of antioxidants.
Tipp: be careful with cleansing, because too much scrubbing can just bring back irritation and redness.
Oily skin and makeup
To bring your skin back into balance and to let make-up stay on your face, there are serums specifically for this skin type. For example Rosactive Balance Serum. It is against shine and brings both dry and oily spots back into balance. If the serum used consistently, your pores narrowing and make up stays at place.
And we also have foundations specifically for oily skin. These are often a fluid and not to creamy. But a 100% mineral foundation is doing aslo very well on your skin. For example from Face Stockholm or Mineralogy. Consider also removing makeup with an oil free remover. Consider an miscellair cleaning water.
Dehydrated oily skin
Even oily skin can be dehydrated. So a nourishing, lightweight cream is a must. Twice a week or a hydrating mask or a purifying mask is also good for oily skin. And use, if you have pimples, not aggressive drying products, but much rather a moisturizing, gentle anti-acne product. If you your skin sufficiently is dehydrated, it gets upset which in case could turn additional irritation.
When you go outside, protect your skin than with an oil-free sun protector possibly with a mattifying effect.
